Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what Turn to Him collects and how we protect it.

Turn to Him (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an iOS app that helps users set Screen Time goals, use intervention shields, and earn Talents. This Privacy Policy describes the data practices of the version currently offered through the App Store.

Information We Collect

Account and Profile Information

When you create or use an account, we collect your email address, a unique account identifier, and account timestamps and settings needed for authentication and synchronization. You may optionally provide your first and last name and a profile photo. Profile-photo access is user initiated; we receive only the photo you choose.

Goal, Screen Time-Derived, and Talent Information

To operate goals and Talents, we store account-linked goal progress, derived overtime minutes, your current Talent balance, Talent history, streaks, and daily progress history.

Raw Screen Time Data That Stays on Your Device

Apple’s Family Controls, Device Activity, and Managed Settings frameworks provide opaque selections for apps, categories, and web domains. Those raw selections, raw Device Activity state, shield configuration, and Screen Time authorization state remain on your device or in the app’s shared App Group. We do not receive the names or content of apps you have not selected.

When a selected goal is exceeded, the app sends your account identifier and derived overtime minutes to our service so it can update your goal and Talent state. We do not use Screen Time information for advertising or cross-company tracking.

Information We Do Not Collect in This Version

The App Store version does not offer Shop or checkout features. It does not request or collect payment information, purchase history, shipping addresses, phone numbers, or precise or coarse location. We do not operate an advertising network or use your information for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information.

How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

• create, authenticate, secure, and support your account;

• display and synchronize your optional profile;

• operate Screen Time goals, intervention shields, streaks, and Talents;

• preserve progress across your devices and app sessions;

• respond to support and privacy requests;

• prevent misuse, maintain security, and comply with applicable law.

We do not use this information for advertising, developer marketing, third-party analytics, or tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.

How We Share Information

Supabase

Supabase acts as our service provider for authentication, database storage, optional avatar file storage, and server functions. Supabase processes account, profile, goal, derived overtime, and Talent data on our behalf to provide the app’s functionality. Supabase also processes the security and diagnostic information described above on our behalf.

Apple Screen Time Services

Apple’s Screen Time frameworks operate on your device. Raw opaque app, category, and web-domain selections and raw Device Activity state are not sent to our servers.

Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or a valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service. We may also share information with your explicit consent.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-company behavioral advertising.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections and access controls, to protect personal information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Security and Diagnostic Information

When you create an account, sign in, or connect to our service, Supabase security and audit logs retain your IP address, user agent, request metadata, and account-linked authentication events. We use this information only to prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, protect accounts, and maintain service security. We do not use it for advertising, marketing, analytics, or tracking across apps or websites owned by other companies.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We retain account and app-functionality data while your account is active and only as needed to provide the service or meet applicable legal obligations.

You can permanently delete your account from within the app. In-app deletion removes the active Supabase authentication account, profile and Talent records, and optional avatar. The deleted account cannot be recovered. We may retain only information that applicable law requires us to keep, and any such information will remain protected and will not be used for other purposes.

Your Choices and Rights

You can update your profile, change the apps and categories selected for Screen Time goals, adjust limits, manage notification and Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings, and permanently delete your account in the app. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

Turn to Him is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

International Users

Turn to Him is based in the United States. If you use the app outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards and law.

Third-Party Links

The app may link to third-party content, such as scripture or faith-related resources. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the Last Updated date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
